Four Paradigms—Shifting
from "Securities" Investment
to Sacred Investment
Industry does not run on thin air. It requires money.
In order to undertake large-scale projects, it is necessary to raise substantial amounts of capital. Unfortunately, for thousands of years, that process has created the opportunity for countless evils.
We will now look at four paradigms:
- an existing material paradigm
- an existing spiritual paradigm
- an emerging spiritual paradigm
- an emerging material paradigm
Existing Material Paradigm
The for-profit system of capital investment that finances industry today includes the stock exchanges, stock brokerage firms (also called investment banks), regular banks, capital investment companies (including venture capital firms), government agencies, and a vast array of attorneys, accountants, dealers, executives, private investors, and government bureaucrats.
This system operates within a complex framework of beliefs, attitudes, traditions and laws. Taken as a whole, the capital investment that finances industry today comprises a material paradigm.
The basic tool of today's industrial capital investment paradigm is the "security".
Industry gets financed by means of investments in "securities".
What is a "security"?
Well, as it turns out, this is a heavily loaded question, and we will discuss its answer extensively on our Securities Laws page. Defining a "security" is a huge big deal in legal circles. Quite literally, hundreds of billions of dollars ride on the definition of "security".
Here are some examples of "securities":
- stocks
- bonds
- debentures
- investment contracts
All "securities" have the following two properties in common:
A "security" legally conveys some kind of financial right to its owner.
An investor invests money in a "security" for the purpose of making a profit.
On the basis of these two properties of "securities", we can accurately and succinctly make the following definition:
The existing material paradigm of industrial capital investment is "securities" investment.
Existing Spiritual Paradigm
Consider the following question:
Is Love of Money the Root of All Evil?
An ancient and widely believed maxim answers the question yes. It defines a spiritual paradigm of money and evil:
Love of money is the root of all evil.
This ancient maxim asserts that when one loves money more than one loves God, evil ensues. Certainly, there is great truth in that.
And the existing material paradigm of capital investment, with all of its many evils, reflects this existing spiritual paradigm of money and evil.
Emerging Spiritual Paradigm
Let's reconsider the above question from an angelic perspective:
Is Love of Money the Root of All Evil?
Angels are not so quick to answer yes. To answer yes raises several disconcerting questions:
Is it evil to love money when you also love God?
Should people who love money be distrusted?
Is it evil to be wealthy?
Is it evil to want to be wealthy so you, as an angel, can accomplish greater good in the world?
There are currently millions of deeply loving, spiritually awake human angels on this planet for whom "Love of money is the root of all evil" simply doesn't make sense.
The Legacy of the Angels asserts a higher spiritual Truth concerning money and evil. The Legacy of the Angels asserts that the spiritual paradigm is already shifting to that higher truth.
Millions of human angels have already made this shift in their personal spiritual awareness. The Legacy of the Angels frames this emerging new spiritual paradigm of money and evil in the following words:
We, as loving individuals, are One with God, One with each other, and One with all things, including money. God is the Oneness and the ultimate Love. Money only becomes evil when it gets separated from Love. When money flows with Love and in honor of the Oneness, money becomes a sacred substance.
Emerging Material Paradigm
The new spiritual paradigm of money and evil is inconsistent with the existing material paradigm of industrial capital investment.
The rapid awakening of more and more human angels to the new spiritual paradigm has thus created an increasing pressure for change in the industrial capital investment system.
On the basis of the shift that is already occurring in the spiritual paradigm, The Legacy of the Angels announces and describes a parallel shift in the material paradigm.
The emerging material paradigm of industrial capital investment is: sacred investment.
And the emerging material paradigm of capital investment reflects the emerging spiritual paradigm of money and evil.
The technical mechanism of sacred investment is called:
Donated-Capital Grant-Yielding Industry Financing (DCGYIF).
DCGYIF is presented in depth in this web site, beginning on the next page.
Putting the four paradigms together
The following chart puts the four paradigms in perspective:
| Spiritual Paradigms of Money and Evil | Material Paradigms of Industrial Capital Investment | |
|---|---|---|
| Existing Paradigms | Love of money is the root of all evil. | "Securities" Investment |
| Emerging Paradigms | We, as loving individuals, are One with God, One with each other, and One with all things, including money. God is the Oneness and the ultimate Love. Money only becomes evil when it gets separated from Love. When money flows with Love and in honor of the Oneness, money becomes a sacred substance. | Sacred Investment |
